Makayla

Isn’t Makayla gorgeous?! I met her mom, Amanda, long before she was born. I’ve taken lots of pictures of Makayla .She has the most beautiful bluish-green eyes.  She is so easy to photograph. She has a fantastic personality and is so easy going.

Megan and Ken

 

My friend Megan and Ken were married March 30 at Dorothy B. Oven Park. I love Oven Park. Every wedding I’ve shot there has been great. The house adds a vintage feel to the “getting ready” pre-ceremony pictures and the gardens are so beautiful. Megan and Ken did a great job of infusing their personalities into their wedding from the matchbox favors with skull wax seals to their dog Doodle dressed in a tux and participating in the ceremony.

I tried some of this cake- it had a red velvet layer and a cheesecake layer. It was delicious!

Lauren and Caleb

Lauren and Caleb had a picture perfect wedding at Dixie Plantation. This was the first wedding I’d shot at Dixie and I’d looked forward to it all year. I was not dissapointed. Lauren is a perfectionist and every detail was attended to. The setting was ideal, the flowers and color choices were modern and vibrant. I loved everything about this wedding. Lauren looked so beautiful. Her dress was exquisite! And I loved her hot pink Kate Spade shoes. What a great couple! They have a bright future ahead of them.

Amber and Will’s Engagement Session

 I met with Will and Amber this weekend to shoot their engagement session. What a cute couple! They are so comfortable and natural with eachother. I’m really looking forward to their wedding in September.
