Engagement Sessions

July 30, 2008

I take lots of Engagement Portraits, but I don’t have many samples of Engagement Portraits on my website, so I am posting a few to the blog.

An Engagement Sitting is included in all my Wedding Packages. My clients love the 11×14 portrait they get from the session and often display it at their reception or use it on Save The Date cards or in their wedding announcement in the paper.

Its a great way for me to get to know the couple a little better. It’s a perfect way for the couple to loosen up for their pictures on the big day and for me to gauge the kind of photos they really like.

Whitney and Marcus

What a great couple! Love them!

Heather and Ryan. Love them too! I just saw Heather yesterday.

Marie and Barry.

Barry is in the band, Edens Fill. Marie has the most beautiful hair. Very cute couple!

Jennifer and Heath.

Ridiculously good-looking and so nice! I took their family pics recently.

Jessica and PJ Madewell

Mexico Beach was an ideal setting for Jessica and P.J.’s gorgeous destination wedding.  The vibrant aqua of the bridesmaids’ dresses beautifully contrasted the tropical yellow and orange roses in their bouquets by Petals by the Bay.

Jessica and her bridesmaids were having a great time getting ready.

We got some beautiful shots just as the sun was setting on the beach.

Panache Tents and Rentals provided a beautiful tent, linens, etc.

The amazing sandcastle cake was created by Lulu’s Sweet Expectations in Port Saint Joe.

Amanda’s Bistro of Mexico Beach provided a delicious dinner.

Brittany and Ross

July 5, 2008

I am about to head out of town, but I wanted to quickly post a few shots from Brittany White and Ross Syrdahl’s wedding on June 29.  The ceremony was held Dorothy B. Oven Park and the reception was at Golden Eagle.

Brittany looked exquisite in a cream and champagne satin dress that was the perfect color for her alabaster skin and beautiful red hair and emerald eyes.  Her hand-beaded bouquet was made by her late mother, which made it even more special. Brittany’s sister, Shesha, was her matron of honor.

Just as the outdoor ceremony was about to begin, a sudden downpour forced a change of plans. Everything was quickly moved inside and the happy couple were married in an intimate ceremony.

The reception was wonderful, with the couple surrounded by their loved ones.
